SO... warning to those thinking about accepting a bump voucher... identity theft appears to happen with these. When I accepted the voucher they told me that the 006 # at the bottom was as good as cash to anyone that possessed the voucher, I could write the voucher # down and shred the voucher, all I would need is the # on the bottom.

You used to be able to transfer these, but you had to appear at the airport to use them and sign them over (I used them for my dad before, but I had to be there to book the ticket for him), now the fraud potential is MUCH MUCH higher.
Very interesting to say the least. Not to say it wasn't fraud, it could have been someone typed in the wrong numbers on the voucher. But interested in the out come of the situation....so plz keep us informed and hope the best. Tell the representative to fill out a report to revenue magament for investigation.
