I just purchased a intl ticket and tried to upgrade it with Miles. She told me that it is a "V" fare and NOT upgradeable. I just purchased at UAL.COM... I read the rules.. states NOTHING about upgrading.... I'm going to try again.. but I think I'm going to lose.

When I purchased it via UAL.COM it said nothing about it being "special"... I've booked 90+ domestic tickets the EXACT same way and never had a problem with upgrades... ...
