You are not alone.

Until the wonderful mindset and/or people with the mindset vacate the executive offices, the best advice I would offer is "fly any other airline or consider taking the bus before submitting yourself to the stupidity that has become US Airways."

Sadly.

I loved the company....I've been and "Elite Level" passenger since 1990.

I met my wife via US.

And since about November of 2006, with an absolute inflection point of March 2007, the airline has become a sad, silly disaster...that for some reason, just continues to get worse. And on top of the sad, silly disaster is a level of arrogance I've never observed anywhere. I asked, on this forum, "has anyone ever seen a company go to war with it's customers like this one?" The answer was "its not uncommon."

I disagree. Or at least, in my experience, I've never observed anything one-fifth this bad. Then again, maybe I have a lower tolerence?

God Bless you for spending 3 hours of your most precious commodity, your time, trying to fly them.

And how did you "earn" a $300 voucher in the first place? More then likely, with a crappy, frustrating, filthy flight experience in the first place....only for them to give $300 toward ANOTHER crappy, frustrating, filthy flight experience with a 3 hour wait.

Over and done until MAJOR changes take place at the top. It blows my mind there are any pax left. It blows my mind I continue to surf the US Airways section of FT.....maybe I do so to remind myself and resist the temptation to fly US again? I dunno.

I've moved onto a happier place...and I should stop complaining here as well and move on to a happier place on the forum.

Then again, I feel some sort of sense of duty and obligation to remind people to fly ANYONE other then US....until there are major changes and vacancies at the top.
