I HATE e-tickets - and I try always to get a paper ticket.

In my family all flight tickets are charged to MY credit card - and my daughters will NOT have MY credit cards with them ...

Airline-Computer systems are down way to much at check-in time.

LH-computers in ZRH don't show UA's e-ticket-details (when I fly LH ZRH-FRA and then UA FRA-USA).

I combine my trips using often several tickets (example: long transatlantic ticket combined with visit-USA-segment-tickets) I can't get my luggage checked trough to the final destination if that day's second segment is on (another) e-ticket from another airline (often first short segment Swissair, second long-haule segment a *A-carrier, but even if both carriers like LH/UA belong to the same *Alliance ...).

Some passport controle authorities want to see my real ticket, as karen2 experienced in Caire, Egypt.

For VISA reasons authorities want sometimes to see my ticket (Saudi Arabia).

I book often long (up to 11 months) in advance and might change my credit card-relation (or get a replacement card after missing the card) between booking and the trip.
