Edit: Nevermind. Originally I was going to suggest "trip in vain" for the original outbound, but that wouldn't apply if the OP was staying there four days. It would only apply if the OP was only flying in for that missed meeting with something like only a 4-8 hour layover. In this case, NW got the OP there as best they could and only ~ 3.5 hours late on a four day stay.
