WHat you were able to do at DL CRCs has no relevance IMHO. Deltas CRS have't got the restrictions that AF lounges have. AF lounges have different conditions for access that apply to all WC members. I repeat, for AF lounges, this is the rule.
"WorldClubs members must present a same-day ticket or boarding pass for an international flight operated by a SkyTeam airline. Guests are not permitted at this location."
