I flew NW 1401 IAD-DTW-FNT this past Saturday and was EUA'ed four days out on both legs with different seat assignments. Granted, IAD-DTW was scheduled on an A320, with DTW-FNT on an A319 so NW did not claim "unscheduled change of aircraft" in this case.
When the mileage-segments posted it was 500-1 for IAD-FNT, so ^ on the UG, but

on the EQM-EQS posting. Now, since I came in at A15 and departed at A73 - both on separate AC - someone at NWA please explain to me where the "convenience" of a "direct" routing comes into play

, and why it should cost me 500 EQM and one EQS?
