On a separate note, is the reward certificate really required. On my recent Hilton stay (booked using points), nobody asked me the certificate during the check-in. Is it normal? Since one has to book the reward stay from Hilton, everything should be in their system, correct? So what is the point of print out a certificate. What I am missing here.
