Sorry -- can't help myself on this one. For MKK and LNY, it's not that the runways are too small for the AQ and HA airframes (both flew there with jets in the past; HA quite recently and AQ a bit farther back -- both airports for HA, MKK only for AQ, probably back when their code was still TS). It's more a matter of the loads at those airports are too small for the bigger jets to serve them economically.
