In practice, however, this was the first time in about 10 times this year booking on the internet then buying at the airport the same or next day (to do exchanges, coupons, etc) that I was ever given any grief about it. In the past, the counter agent just said: "The fare has changed since you booked it, but I will fix that for you right now."
