I did a quick check on Sabre ...

There are two different rates available at Palazzo Versace for those dates.

The less expensive "Festive Seasons 2007" package costs 725 AUD for a superior room, 790 for a superior suite, and 810 for a lagoon room. This package requires a deposit and has NO CANCELLATION.

The more expensive "Daily Rate" is 770 AUD for a superior room, 835 for a superior suite, and 855 for a lagoon room. These rates offer a 24 hour cancellation, and no deposit is required.

I would call LHW and ensure that you are booked in the more expensive Daily Rate (if that is your wish). I would never book a non-cancellable hotel room if given the choice.
