After flying AA to NRT and then Boarding Thai she will think she has died and gone to heaven. Thai Service is many many times better in Coach than AA.
She has 2 Hours connection in NRT so even with a Terminal change thats not a problem, the Thai Aircraft is usually a 747-400, Jumbo Jet.
Consolidator fares on this route for 26th December are in the $1150-$1220, often the BKK-NRT sector is the JAL/AA Code share. And her bags will be checked all the way through both ways except she will have to clear Immigration, Customs and recheck her bags at first point of arrival in USA.
This journey will make her AAdvantage Gold with the Challenge, even more miles if the BKK-NRT is the AA/JL/JO code share which it usually is.
