Those are GREAT suggestions...especially Gameworks (how could I have forgotten about that!) Bonnie Ranch is also a good idea, but you really need to have (or rent) a car as it is a major schlep from the Strip! (Straight up Charleston Blvd, but about 30 - 45 minutes at least...a bit pricey for a taxi ride!)
But I still say that Circus Circus is cool for a kid, even though it would be one of the worst places to go to as an adult, without kids (see my website link).
