Robbed at 30,000 Feet in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class?!?

I hope you can help. I don't have a CLUE what I'm doing here. I heard about this site on television and thought maybe someone who belonged to this blog could advise me the right way to approach my problem. You seem to be the lucky one I've picked.

On August 28th, I was on a Virgin Atlantic flight from San Francisco. I was in upper class with my two children. Before I boarded my flight I stopped at the last currency exchange shop about 50 ft. from my gate. We went directly to the plane afterwards; we didn't shop at the duty free.

Once I landed at Hearthrow's Terminal 3 we went to baggage claim where I stood next to the "Help Phone" for a Skycap for assistance, picked up my luggage and went to the taxi stand. When I reached the car I pulled out my wallet to pay the porter and was unhappily surprised to find that someone had stolen the pounds sterling that I had just purchased at SFO leaving me with just 10 pounds.

Realising that someone had robbed me at 30,000 ft. was difficult to believe. I continued to the hotel and the front desk got the neccessary contact numbers at Virgin.

Virgin's Customer Service said my only recourse at the moment was to e-mail the Head Office and for them to investigate. While I understand this I'm so upset at being robbed onboard in Upper Class.

I felt maybe there was someone, somewhere, that knew something about my situation. Hence, my being here and finding you.

Could you direct me to the right blog, right person... etc... where I can vent and get this information to the public to be aware? I've never blog and don't know where to begin!

Kind Regards,

S Brown
