Just to confuse the issue - I'm putting in a vote for row 1! There is nothing quite like the privacy of row - because you can't see the rest of the cabin, and the crew only approach you when you need something (ie they're not walking past the whole time) it is easy to forget that there is actually an aircraft and passengers behind you!
The other interesting thing is the opportunity to 'see forwards' from that seat. With the curvature of the plane it is just possible to get a view towards the front (ie where you are going) - it's great during the day and well worth doing if you haven't before.
Only minor negatives with row 1 is no overhead stowage and if you didn't know the person in 1K you might feel a bit close, but this doesn't apply in your case.
Of course why not try 1A/K outbound and if you don't like, change for the way back?
