AmEx platinum chargecard?
It's worth pointing out that AmEx platinum chargecard holders now have access to AA ACs. There's discussion in the AmEx forum whether that access is just for US cardholders (the OP is in SJC) or for all of us.

I'll be trying soon, as this access seems to be better than for AA plats.
