I've been searching though the links of travel sites in the Sticky above for something that will help me plan a weekend trip in a month or so, but I can't quite find the right thing.

I want to be able to search for the best value in fares to from a specific city within a certain flying distance. ie, from LAX within 2 hours flying time, what is the cheapest fare on a given weekend. Hopefully that is clear.

Basically the wife and I want to go somewhere we've never been before and dont really care where, on a certain weekend next month, but we are on budget for both time and money. And we are looking for a site that will show us our options.

Any help is very much appreciated.
