I had two recent reward tickets ex Italy to YVR. Both were in J. One was on AC via FRA/YYC, the other was a STAR award via FRA/YVR direct. The AC ticket had taxes/fees totalling 271 CAD including the ridiculous extortionist call centre fee for reservations that you cannot book on the web. The STAR award had total taxes/fees of 128 CAD. Both booked through our friends at the AE centre.
