Thanks for the feedback Mike, explains what I saw on AA/ITA..
Now I have to ask, if the routing info on EF is basically useless, what are the good reasons not to cancel my membership b4 the 5 days is up..
I mean, between SeatGuru and SeatFinder/SeatCounter, what's the difference? I was personally willing to toss $10/mo to anyone who can keep me from having to fake-book a flight on Expedia to check the routing rules (unless anyone has a kewl url/script idea)..^

IIRC, "single connect" means that, were there a single connection between the origin and destination, it would have to be in one of those cities. There is nothing that says that the routing cannot involve more than one city on the list, but EF's routing rules aren't going to help you determine what cities may be used in conjunction with one another or in what order.
