8/10/07 - BOS-LAX

Status: PLT

Fare: AwardSaver

Problem: Flight delayed over 4 hours due to mechanical. Rerouted to morning flight BOS-DFW-SNA. Bags went to LAX instead, but with promise of delivery by GA to address in California by 8/12.

Trip was only for the weekend, with a return on 8/12. I was delivered back to BOS on 8/12. Bags were delivered to to address in California on 8/14.

Action: Faxed and Wrote letter to customer relations asking for voucher to cover cost back to California to get bags, or return of award miles.

Compensation: 20K miles deposited to account on 8/31. (5K miles already in account, making award ticket purchase possible.)
