Best Routing / MR to SFO from TPA (via MIA)

Thanks Bro,

I totally agree, but the time out of the office for 3 trips is more expensive than the F/C Fair (about 522 O/W according to AA.com) so for a total to Plat cost of about 2400 (my wife is going with me and she's in the challenge too) I can get the 10kpts..
6700*1.5>10k, and the ticket costs about 1200, so that's a great single trip to platinum at least with my work constraints, plus I need to go to SFO in the next 6 weeks on biz.. So I really need a way to max the mileage out to >8401 for the whole trip.. (I'll have 1600+ pts from a Costa Rican trip next weekend..)

BTW, what are you doing out in Frisco that weekend?

We should get a thread started on posting business related events calendars so we can all know where the tax deductions are around the US/World..

In any case and if you don't mind flying in Y, check the TPA-MIA-SFO-MIA-TPA routing $240 AI which yield 3585 points or 6170 miles. Do three of this and you will become a Platinum when points are counted.

There is availability for 9/21-9/22 and other dates as well. I might try RSW-MIA-SFO on the 9/22 to get an upgrade to Business now that I am a PLAT.

Good luck.
