Fair enough, what's the best forum for this and I'll request a moderator to move it?

I thought this was as good as "any", because I am trying to find a mileage run deal, and this is an issue I come up with.. I've read the tutorials but I'm getting conflicting information [ITA says one thing (upto 3 connects), actual route suggests only 1 connect, AA.com allows 2 connects but ups to the next highest fare etc..]
