Sorry this is so late but I noticed a UAL Jumbo parked overnight at SYD last night and this morning I saw a heavy 747 taking off much earlier than the afternoon flights today.

It appears 840 SYD-LAX was cancelled on Thursday Aug 30 and went about midday on Friday.
