Other than ARN/BMA and GOT there are very few international routes from Sweden with the exception of Ryanair and flights to Copenhagen.
According to the
Linköping airport homepage the new route will be operated by a Fokker 70.
Surprisingly large aircraft, I had expected something like a Fokker 50.
And the new timetable:
Departures from LPI 06:45 and 12:15
Departures from AMS 09:35 and 20:40
Flight time roughly two hours.
When KLM introduced the same route setup from TRD they quickly stole a very large chunk of the market from Trondheim, especially on intercontinental as AMS has a significantly better offering than CPH. (And transferring OSL and FRA/MUC is a bit much for most passengers.)
