BA.com is correct in this (for once)...but its no problem to add a newborn to the booking, as long as you have the PNR you want to add him to. Note that they will assign him to the lead pax in the booking, and if the mum to be is anything like Mrs EB was/is , she'll want him the be with her on the booking - so she should be the lead pax! Cost wise, IIRC (a year ago seems like a looooooong time suddenly...!), the infant cost will be 10% of the ticket he's being added to, since he won't be having his own seat. Of course, if they buy a seat for him then that would have to come out of the cheapest available bucket at the time of adding him.

Not sure if the taxes are 10% though (I suspect not), or the offline fee (I bought EB jnr's ticket at the airport and can't remember).

Oh, and he'll be entitled to a piece of hand baggage as per "normal" pax with their own seat! (plus a car seat plus a buggy). ^
