Somehow, a schedule change on the outbound caused a seat change on the return. Given the schedule change on the outbound I cannot actually see the seatmap before calling (it's now blocked), but I can see that we were moved from row 8 (as I have on my email confirmation) to row 1 (as I now see on "My Itiniaries").
The only way I can tell a 3 class from a 2 class is by doing a dummy booking and seeing where E+ starts (row 10 on a 2 class and row 15 on a 3 class 763).
I assume I can call and get my original seats back, but if UA wants to give me F in a 3 class I'd hate to screw up a good thing.
If I called should I really expect a phone agent to have more accurate info than .bomb?
