Most everyone sensible seems to agree (I thought so far to be a member of the 'everyone sensible' clique here on this board .

army of 45,000 1K'ers I admit, that I don't care about that army. I care about FlyerTalkers like Pittbull1K above, who is able to profit from infos on this board using (sometimes to the extrem) the airline rules.

In general, so far, I thought an overwhelming majority of frequent posters here agreed to silence on this board (more or less) about real loopholes of ff-programs (that info goes mainly eye-to-eye on personal get-togethers, in our 'cliques' I am a proud member of most of them).

Constant practice so far has been to openly discuss and inform here about how to get most (extrem/going to the limits) by applying the official (airline) rules.

I myself think it is best to keep it that way - otherwise '0utsiders'/'juniors'/'lurkers' may find this board less interesting. That's, in my opinion, together with a fair 'gentleman/gentlelady'-way to talk to each other on this board, what made, in the past, Flyertalk great (sharing and caring).
