I live 15 minutes from a large international airport with lots of competition and can often buy cheap fares to Podunk, USA at the last minute. The reverse is not true.
I never said it wasn't the fare, but the simple fact of the matter is that reasonably priced fares are available from GFK. If you're in a hurry, odds are you'll get to pay.
