Damaged El Al plane lands safely in Tel Aviv

The El Al flight from Bangkok which declared an emergency situation after discovering two of its tires ripped during take-off, has landed safely at Ben-Gurion Airport at 1:00 am on Wednesday.


Large teams of police, firefighters and medical rescue teams had assembled on the runway as the plane neared the airport. (Eli Senior)
