There is also availability in I (business class award/upgrade).

So, if you want, you can get a confirmed upgrade now (and as long as there is I class availability) for 50,000 miles.

Do I understand correctly that you have two different fares, one for LWO-FRA, and a LH YOW for FRA-KIX? If so, this seems like a waste, because the YOW fare is EUR 3,500. You could upfare to business COW for 699 Euros. Or get a D fare for a round trip for EUR 4,199...

There should probably some other, cheaper options for business class too.
