I live Burnaby NewWest border, roughly 4mi north of the turn onto final over Queensborough. They would be about 4-6mi south of the turn onto final. For me we get the aircraft arriving from the north (polar European, central BC etc), making a 90deg right turn onto final over the Queensborough area. Outside it's a heck of a lot quieter than a loud car driving by, and inside I can barely hear them.

Also, the aircraft would be at least 3000ft (or is it 2500), any lower and they start to bite in Boundary Bay's zone.
