The benefit for Jazz of hiring pilots right out of flight school, is that they can train them there way. The pilots will be eager without a pre-conceived idea "of how it's done"

Having seen the Jazz payscale, yes the pay is low IMO, however there will always be takers. In low time junior pilot world, getting on with Jazz is touching the big boys (closer to AC and it's heavies). Their will always be more eager pilots than cockpits to fill, so finding pilots will not be difficult, te right ones could be a different story.

A Dash 8 right seat with Jazz as opposed to a Flying Pencil (Metroliner)/King Air will be an upgrade for most pilots who are striving to reach the majors.

Nice to see Jazz is being proactive in finding the right people. I hope for Jazz's sake they have a loyalty bonus/penalty clause for the new hires.
