I've seen the 3 drink limit signs for the boardroom at LAX, SEA & YVR. For me, I'm in the club for so little time (and you have to find someone to make the drink) that it's not a big deal. I really like the boardrooms.
I've been given every excuse in the book about upgrades. It seems the NW/AS training process has a lot of room for improvement. Switching to the electronic certs this year has only compounded the problem, not made it easier.
Overall I think AS is over-rated. They used to be above average in terms of ontime, inflight, gate and check-in service, but today they have cutback so much I rate AS just average (mostly because of hostile and angry LAX staff & severe cutbacks in First class food).
Their website is so so & mobile tools are far below NW's level. (Sorry Missy!)
My wish is better integration with NW: ie: use of MVP check-in counters, Partner Elite boarding and NW Elite access to MVP seating. I'm sure AS flyers want the same from NW.
