Some CP's have reported success in getting "upgraded" to Row 1 "for free" by a sympathetic gate agent. But I think the Sandcastle's official policy is "Better to let these seats go empty than to reward a CP with yet another 'freebie.' After all, our best customers have told us they would not pay for Row 1."
