The 4 segments applies to each membership year. You need 4 to go from Blue to Silver. Your year then resets (points to zero, new date begins) and you will then need 4 more qualifying flights and the correct number of TPs to retain Silver or get promoted to Gold. Every single membership year, you need 4 qualifying flights plus the required TPs to retain a tier.
Wow at first glance non calander year tracking looks consumer friendly.
But if you make Silver in three months then you only enjoy it for 12 months not upto 24 months as on the calander year programs that end on Feb 28 and measure Jan1-Dec 31.
And If you get silver in 3 months and then gold in 3 months , then you only have the gold for 12 months?
LH conversely can give you status for nearly 3 years if done just right!
