Honestly, there is no reasonable way to move the points into AAdvantage miles. If that is and will always be your goal, then you probably need to re-consider your choice of credit cards. If you like American Express over let's say Visa, MasterCard or Diners, then the Starwood American Express card will allow you to earn miles with the AAdvantage program at the same rate as you are with Membership rewards - minus the occasional bonus offers that MR has.

Change credit cards and save the MR points for a rainy day...... your loss to convert if you really are itching to do so is only about 30-40% on the mile....not a great exchange rate by any means.
