It will. But you'd only know it if you know the ins and outs of these fares or looked up the detailed rules on ExpertFlyer or ITA, etc. WT+ fares with connections book those connections in to Y class, i.e. TP earning. So this should indeed satisfy the requirement, being a T-Y-Y-T (75+20+20+75 TPs) itinerary which is 4 qualifying flights.

The 4 segments applies to each
membership year. You need 4 to go from Blue to Silver. Your year then resets (points to zero, new date begins) and you will then need 4 more qualifying flights and the correct number of TPs to retain Silver or get promoted to Gold. Every single membership year, you need 4 qualifying flights plus the required TPs to retain a tier.
