I have been told that the price of a California Driver's License and SS card is just around $100 if you go to certain areas around downtown L.A. Apparently, they are pretty good replications, although, since the DL is not in the system, not a good idea to give it to the Highway Patrol when driving.

Of course, they don't run the license through the DL computer system at the airport ...
