How do we interpret this rule?:

"NO HIP OR MILEAGE EXCEPTIONS APPLY"

As one does not wish to get caught napping by an *allowed* stopover, which airline agents themselves book for you, I wanted to find a resource for interpretation of fare rules, other than those *pricey* IATA guides!

Can you guide us here, or post some info in your FAQ/user guides?
