Wow ... a lifetime 1st Class pass .... imagine the value of that if you signed up in your 20s or 30s! Wonder if they gave you POINTS on all the flights?!

A friend here signed up in Ansett Golden Wing club in her 20s. Life Membership, very impressive card to flash around, even for flight upgrades, and they mean LIFE, and free entry for him when she travels with spouse also. Cost her about $A1000 of $US600.

Says it was the best $600 she EVER spent. annual fee alone now $200 or so I understand!
