On my desk as I type this, a still sealed "C" amenity kit from earlier this week on one of UA 889/869/890.
I just opened it. Contents: eye shade, earplugs, sox, a 15% discount on H2O products, Smints, tissues, a small tube of H2O Spa body butter, all in a drawstring nylon (I guess) bag labelled "RELAX."
On my desk as I type this, and appearing in a snapshot I took while obviously in UA F LAX-BKK-LAX a dark grey, snap-sealed, zippered and compartmented tri-fold nylon (I guess) "travel wallet" with a UNITED tag on it. Sorry, all the contents have been removed, but I believe were either H2O OR Dupont.
I am absolutely certain there was yet another style of kit received, probably in C (unless UA earlier this year downgraded F amenity kits which I doubt) a light grey, zippered pouch, say 5"x4"x2," that contained small tubes of Dupont or H2o products I now have piled in a basket, having given the pouches away empty, but usually intact, unles I opened one along the way.
My point; the grey snap-seal "wallet" is clearly an F product and not part of my original post about declining quality of amenity kits. That leaves the nylon bag and the zip pouch. I'm relying on my memory that the zip pouch contained either the Dupont or the H2O--I doubt (the) wallet(s) contained both, though probably one or the other--whereas the "RELAX" bag holds very little. Conclusion: declining quality, at least of C amenity kits. Enough, already.
