Mrs. kaukau and I were certainly fortunate enough to get a heads-up from FlyerTalk about JetStar's "First Day Of Business Sale", when for the first 24 hours that they started service from HNL-SYD, they sold promotional tickets for $334 r/t, all in! We snagged two, and went for a week this past March, where we met several SYD FlyerTalkers, and made new friends! I think the typical HNL-SYD JetStar rate these days is in the neighborhood of $750, all in.
