Have had a similar experiance. After repeated late flight, rubbish CS, poor BEAC phone response, crummy service etc etc I switched to VS for 7 months. However a change in corp policy meant that I could book flights myself rather than using the company TA which opened up ex-EU and MFU's for me. However good VS's new PE is it isn't a scratch on CW and UC prices, particularily compared ex-EU, just don't cut it.
So, I started booking BA again, expecting all the same crap, but I have to say I have been very pleasently surpised. Flights pretty much on time, baggage materialising quickly, BAECresponding in seconds to phone calls. Wonder if it will last...
