From memory (I've given away more amenity kits than I can recall, and I'm writing this at 1 a.m. on a sleepless night) but what's missing from earlier this week's offering were a nice selection of H2O products-- lip moisturizer, hand lotion, body butter, comb, toothpick/floss, mints and possibly some other stuff. Also, prior to last month's flights there was a zippered pouch with a selection of S. Dupont cosmetics--cologne, moisturizer, lip balm.
I suppose it's possible that different kits are offered on different routes to Asia, but that level of sophistication doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and in any case, all our flights with varying amenity kits have had one or more NAR-LAX/LAX-NAR segments.
Otherwise, common to all have been sox, tissues, sleepshade, earplugs, toothbrush and paste--though the issue with contaminated Chinese products has been aired elsewhere, and those two items manufactured in China are EXCLUDED from kits, and instead, US-made products replace them in the lavs.
Granted, it may be pointless to rant on about something as relatively trivial as the contents of these kits, but I imagine we would all prefer to see the quality of the offerings improve rather than decline.
