I grabbed an MCI for miles deal on my long distance last year. I then wanted to cancel, you talk about pulling teeth. I admit it could've been incompetence, heck it could've been outright lying. Bottom line is it took me 4 months to cancel. I kept getting bills and kept getting promises that the account was cancelled. They won't see another dime from me.
