IIRC there are two paid for services that are accessible in that lounge - I believe one is Sprint and the other is, as you say, the T-Mobile service from the LH lounge next door. My experience is there are very few lounges in the UK or the US that provide free wireless access. If you want to get mad at BA, then you'll also want to get mad at hotel chains like Hyatt that also charge.
