I usually book my airline tickets directly through airline websites to avoid booking fees, but earlier this week I ran into a situation where I could not get a fare on United.com (aka, .bomb) but could get it through other travel sites. I then remembered that Priceline is having a
"Summer Flight Sale" where they are waiving the usual booking fees. Then of course you can go through
FatWallet and get 3% cash back on Priceline purchases, so in effect you get 3% back on airline tickets. Given the lack of online booking bonuses from many airlines these days, I thought this was a pretty hot deal. Of course, for more expensive tickets, this is still probably a better deal than online booking bonusues.
