Hi Everyone,
I have been thinking about the F class problems at A319s recently. It is extremely difficult to secure F class seats at UAL's A319s, even for 1Ks. If I want upgrades on A319, I have to call ahead and use miles to upgrade. I think UAL needs to put some more seats on its A319s, especially it uses those small airbuses for transcontinental runs. Even US Airways has 12 F class seats. I think 12 seats for A319 is reasonable. The situation is different from Boeing 737-300s, which are used exclusively for short to medium haul flights. Even AS have 12 F class seats for its Boeing 737s and MD-80s.
For UAL's A320, I think 16 F class seats are more reasonable than 12 F class seats.
I love the Airbuses, but if I want upgrades, I need to fly the Boeing 757s or larger aircrafts.
Do you think it is time for United to increase F class seats on its transcontinental Airbuses?
