I think the idea of this forum is an excellent one and I support it.

I refer to the Travel Technology forum regularly and would love to have a single forum to discuss non-technology related travel products. (I support two forums, not expanding the existing one.)

Personally, I think all this focus on demonstrating specific demand with threads from other forums is misplaced. In some cases, it might be a relevant indicator. In a case like this, where there is no designated place on FT for discussions about such products, many, like myself, just refrain from talking about them. It doesn't mean that we wouldn't actively participate in such discussions, were there a focused place for them.

I hope the TalkBoard adopts this suggestion.
