No offense, but sounds very fishy. I've probably obtained millions of miles (literally) worth of tickets for family and friends (more with different last names from mine than not) and never had a problem.

If you are legit, you should be able to satisfy AAdvantage with no trouble.

PS Ya gotta love these tales of woe from first-time posters!
